In Wyoming, we value freedom and independence and believe ours to be a deep red, conservative state. But the last few years have revealed that we are not as conservative as we thought. .
The people we have elected to represent us in Wyoming have not protected our freedom. They know that the people of Wyoming have conservative values, so they put an “R” by their names to get elected and then vote to increase spending and grow the government.
We know conservative values work, because those values have created the greatest nation and the largest leap for the prosperity of the common man that the world has known. That’s why I’m running to represent House District 54. I will view legislation through the lenses that were put forth in our founding documents.
Follow Me on FacebookGovernment must be restrained to its proper role…to protect life, liberty, and property. The best government lives within its means. Since the government gets its money from the people, taxes should be only enough to cover the amount that is necessary to meet its constitutional obligations. Right now, taxes should at least be capped while the legislature is tasked with reducing spending and providing real tax reform and relief. There can be no real tax reform until our government spending is under control. The rate at which government is spending and growing is unsustainable and it threatens our way of life.
The family is the foundation of society, not the state, and parents have the responsibility to educate their children. As a former teacher, parent, and grandparent I believe that our education system needs to focus on the fundamentals and let parents choose the program that best meets their child’s needs.
People have the right to make their own health care decisions. The government does not have the right to mandate or coerce its citizens to take any kind of medical treatment.
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same.”
